Engaging God's Word
Join us in our journey to better know God through engaging His word, and memorizing text that we may encourage and exhort others in the love, promise, and truth that is only found in The Word.
Versus will be provided in the New Living Translation version of our Holy Bible.
John 1: In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. He existed in the beginning with God. 3. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. 4. The Word gave life to everything that was created and his life brought light to everyone. 5. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Reading the Bible in a year
For 2022, as a church, we will hone our sword of the Spirit, which is the Word (Eph 6:17) by getting into the Word and reading the entire Bible throughout the year. Our reading plan will have us moving chronologically through the Bible, in the New Living Translation. Even if you have read the full Bible, it is important to do it again and again. As Christians, we must eat, breathe, live in the Word of God. This is how we prepare, how we take up His sword.
